Washington Wizards/C/
FrancePlayer Info
Alexandre Sarr is a French phenom and a cornerstone of the Washington Wizards' rebuilding efforts, selected with the second overall pick in the 2024 NBA Draft. The 20-year-old power forward, standing 213 cm tall, possesses a rare blend of length, agility, and defensive instincts that made him one of the most coveted prospects in his class. Earning a rookie salary of around $11.8 million, Sarr is expected to be a transformative two-way player for the Wizards. His ability to switch defensively, protect the rim, and handle the ball in transition offers a modern blueprint for the big man position. While his offensive game continues to develop, his defensive impact and potential as a floor-spacer are immediate assets. Sarr represents the new face of the franchise in Washington, tasked with anchoring the team's defense and growing into a primary option alongside the team's young core.
