Ausar Thompson, the high-flying forward wearing number 9 for the Detroit Pistons, is a defensive dynamo and one-half of a historic draft duo. Taken with the 5th pick in the 2023 NBA Draft, just after his twin brother Amen, the 22-year-old Thompson brings incredible athleticism, instincts, and a non-stop motor to Detroit. At 198 cm, he immediately established himself as a versatile defender capable of guarding positions 1 through 4, often drawing the toughest assignment.
