United StatesPlayer Info
Ayo Dosunmu, the Chicago-born shooting guard for the Minnesota Timberwolves, is a tough, defensive-minded player who has proven to be a steal as the 38th overall pick in the 2021 draft. After a successful college career at Illinois, Dosunmu joined his hometown Bulls and quickly became a fan favorite for his relentless on-ball defense and improving offensive game. He set a franchise rookie record with eight steals in a game. Traded to Minnesota, he brings his tenacious perimeter defense to a championship-contending roster. Dosunmu's main strength is his ability to hound opposing guards, combined with a reliable three-point shot and intelligent cutting. He embodies the kind of hard-nosed, winning role player that every team covets, making a significant impact beyond the box score.
