New Orleans Pelicans/G/
United StatesPlayer Info
Jeremiah Fears, a guard for the New Orleans Pelicans, is one of the most exciting young prospects in the NBA. Selected 7th overall in the 2025 NBA Draft out of the University of Oklahoma, the 19-year-old combines elite size for his position at 6'5" with advanced scoring instincts and playmaking flair. Fears' rookie season has been a showcase of his potential; he possesses a smooth, confident handle and an ability to create his own shot from all three levels, drawing early comparisons to star-level combo guards. His defensive potential, aided by his length and athleticism, is also a major part of his appeal. While adapting to the NBA's speed and physicality, he has already shown flashes of being a future cornerstone for the Pelicans. With a salary reflecting his high draft status, Fears is central to New Orleans' long-term plan, expected to grow into a primary offensive engine and a potential All-Star.
