Player Info

Tre Jones has solidified his role as a steady, high-IQ floor general for the Chicago Bulls. The 25-year-old point guard, hailing from Apple Valley, Minnesota, and a product of the prestigious Duke University program, was selected 41st overall in the 2020 NBA Draft. Jones initially made his mark with the San Antonio Spurs, where he developed under their system, eventually earning a starting role and a reputation as a tenacious defender and reliable playmaker. His move to the Chicago Bulls on a contract worth $8 million annually signaled a new chapter where his skills as a traditional, pass-first point guard are highly valued. While his individual stats may not always leap off the page, Jones's main contribution is his game management, low turnover rate, and ability to pressure opposing ball-handlers. His honors include ACC Player of the Year and Defensive Player of the Year from his time at Duke. Jones is the epitome of a coach's player—unselfish, tough, and consistently making the right read. He is a crucial stabilizing presence for a Bulls team looking to compete in the Eastern Conference.
