New York Knicks/G/
United StatesPlayer Info
Tyler Kolek, the 34th overall pick in the 2024 NBA Draft by the New York Knicks, is a 24-year-old guard out of Marquette University. Standing 191cm and weighing 88kg, he brings a mature, polished game to the professional ranks. Kolek is a quintessential floor general, renowned for his elite court vision, high basketball IQ, and toughness. At Marquette, he was the engine of a high-powered offense, leading the nation in assists and demonstrating a clutch gene in big moments. While not an elite athlete, he uses craftiness, strength, and a deep understanding of angles to create for himself and others. His shooting improved markedly in college, making him a legitimate three-point threat. For the Knicks, Kolek projects as a reliable backup point guard who can stabilize the offense, make smart decisions, and provide spacing with his catch-and-shoot ability, all on a team-friendly rookie contract.
