Player Info

Yanic Konan Niederhauser is a promising young center for the Los Angeles Clippers, representing a significant international investment for the franchise. The 22-year-old Swiss big man, selected 30th overall in the 2025 NBA Draft out of Penn State, brings an intriguing blend of size, standing at 7 feet tall, and modern skills to the league. On the court, Niederhauser uses his 213 cm frame to protect the rim and rebound, but he also shows a promising touch from the outside and good passing instincts for a player his size, fitting the contemporary model of a stretch-five. His rookie season is about adaptation, learning the NBA's speed and physicality under the guidance of veteran teammates. With a salary reflecting his first-round draft status, the Clippers are banking on his development into a rotational big who can space the floor and defend. As he gains strength and experience, Niederhauser has the potential to become a valuable two-way player and a key part of the Clippers' future frontcourt.
