Shaanxi United Soaring delivered a statement performance in the Chinese Football Association Member Association Champions League, defeating Dalian Juxing Shengheng 3-1 on Tuesday, 6 October 2026. The 15:30 kick-off saw the visitors combine high pressing with ruthless finishing, overpowering a Dalian side that struggled to cope with Shaanxi’s intensity after an encouraging start.

Match Overview

Dalian Juxing Shengheng welcomed Shaanxi United Soaring to their home ground hoping to build on a positive run, but the visitors had other ideas. Shaanxi’s aggressive 4-3-3 system disrupted Dalian’s rhythm from the first whistle, forcing turnovers in dangerous areas and launching quick attacks. Although Dalian briefly restored parity with a well-taken set-piece goal, Shaanxi’s superior organisation and clinical edge in front of goal proved decisive. The three-goal haul flattered neither side; it was a fair reflection of the away team’s control in the final third.

Key Moments

• 9th minute: Shaanxi United Soaring took an early lead. A high press forced a misplaced pass, and the ball was worked quickly to the striker, who finished calmly into the bottom corner.
• 22nd minute: Dalian Juxing Shengheng equalised against the run of play. A deep free-kick was met with a powerful header that gave the Shaanxi goalkeeper no chance.
• 41st minute: Shaanxi regained the lead just before half-time. A curling effort from the edge of the box found the top corner, restoring their advantage at a crucial moment.
• 74th minute: The visitors sealed the win with a devastating counter-attack. Three passes took Shaanxi from their own half to the Dalian penalty area, and the finish was low and precise.

Tactical Story

Shaanxi United Soaring’s high press was the foundation of their victory. They suffocated Dalian’s attempts to play out from the back, forcing long balls that were easily repelled by a well-organised defence. When Shaanxi won possession, they attacked with numbers and speed, particularly through the wide channels. Dalian Juxing Shengheng tried to adapt by dropping their midfield deeper, but that only invited more pressure. Their one bright moment came from a set-piece, but in open play they created little. Shaanxi’s transitions were simply too quick and too precise for the home side to handle.

Standout Players

Shaanxi United Soaring’s centre-forward produced a superb all-round display, scoring a brace and leading the line with intelligence and strength. He was ably supported by the No. 10, whose movement between the lines constantly pulled Dalian’s defenders out of position. In midfield, Shaanxi’s captain controlled the game with crisp passing and relentless energy. For Dalian, the right winger was their most dangerous outlet, winning several free-kicks and providing the assist for the equaliser, but he was too often isolated.

Season Impact

The convincing win strengthens Shaanxi United Soaring’s position in the group and boosts their goal difference, which could prove vital in the race for knockout qualification. For Dalian Juxing Shengheng, the defeat raises questions about their defensive organisation and home form, leaving them with work to do in the coming matches. In the Chinese FA Member Association Champions League, where the margin between progress and elimination is often razor-thin, Shaanxi’s ruthless away performance sends a clear message to their rivals.
