Match Info

The Italian Campionato Primavera 1 derby between Juventus U20 and Torino U19 ended in a 1-1 draw at the Juventus Training Center. This share of the spoils was a fair result in a fiercely contested youth match between the Turin rivals. Juventus took the lead in the first half with a fine individual effort, cutting inside from the wing and firing home. Torino responded with great spirit and deservedly equalized in the second period through a headed goal from a corner. Both teams had chances to win the game late on, with the Juventus goalkeeper making a crucial save in the final minutes to preserve the point. The draw maintains the competitive balance between the two academy sides in the league standings. Both managers will be pleased with the intensity shown by their young players in a high-pressure derby atmosphere.
