Luis Mejía is a Panamanian international goalkeeper who currently plays for Uruguayan giants CA Peñarol. At 34, the 191cm shot-stopper is known for his commanding presence, excellent reflexes, and experience at the highest level in the Americas. Mejía began his career in Panama before moving to Uruguay with Fenix. His performances earned him a move to Nacional, and later to Toluca in Mexico. A mainstay for the Panama national team for over a decade, he has been their number one in multiple CONCACAF Gold Cups and the historic 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia.
