At Wydad Fes, he has become a key component, breaking up opposition attacks and initiating counters with his sharp tackling and simple, effective distribution. His market value of €160,000 reflects his importance as a reliable performer in a competitive league. His honors include domestic cup successes in Morocco and being a regular fixture in a Wydad Fes side that consistently competes at the top end of the table. While not a prolific scorer, his contributions are vital in the engine room, often earning him Man of the Match accolades in tightly contested battles. Popoola is known for his infectious work ethic and warrior-like mentality on the pitch.
