Wisła Kraków Youth 2 – 1 Znicz Pruszków Youth
Poland Młoda Ekstraklasa – 31 May 2026
Wisła Kraków’s youth side edged past Znicz Pruszków with a hard-fought 2-1 victory at the Wisła Training Centre on Sunday evening. The win kept the young Biała Gwiazda in touch with the top half of the Młoda Ekstraklasa table, while Znicz were left to rue missed chances in a contest that swung decisively in the second half.
First half: evenly matched but goalless
The opening 45 minutes were tense and tactical, with both defences largely on top. Znicz Pruszków created the clearer opportunities through quick counter-attacks, but Wisła goalkeeper Kacper Madejski made two sharp saves to keep the scores level. Wisła’s midfield, led by captain Jakub Błaszczyk, began to assert control as the half wore on, yet clear-cut chances remained scarce.
Second half bursts into life
Wisła Kraków broke the deadlock in the 54th minute. A well-worked corner found central defender Michał Wróblewski, who powered a header past Znicz goalkeeper Bartosz Kowalczyk. The home side doubled their advantage just 12 minutes later when striker Kamil Górski latched onto a through ball and slotted calmly into the far corner.
Znicz Pruszków refused to wilt. They pulled one back in the 78th minute through substitute Mateusz Nowak, who volleyed home from a free-kick delivery. The visitors pushed for an equaliser in the closing stages, but Wisła’s defence held firm to secure all three points.
