Team Info

SD Amorebieta is a Spanish football club currently competing in the Segunda División RFEF, the fourth tier of the Spanish football league system. Based in the town of Amorebieta-Etxano in the Basque Country, the team plays at the compact Campo Municipal de Urritxe. The club, founded in 1925, is known for its blue-and-white striped shirts and deep community roots. Their history is one of perseverance in the lower leagues, with the occasional foray into the professional tiers providing unforgettable moments for supporters. A key era was undoubtedly the 2020-21 season, when the club achieved a historic promotion to the Segunda División for the first time, a feat that sparked massive celebrations. After a stint in the second division, the modern era sees them rebuilding in the RFEF, with a squad blending experienced heads and young talent aiming for an immediate return. The fan base is fiercely loyal, creating a vibrant and intimidating atmosphere on matchdays. SD Amorebieta remains the beating heart of football in the Zornotza valley.
