Team Info
The Tanzania U17 national football team, known as the Serengeti Boys, represents Tanzania in international football at the under-17 level. Governed by the Tanzania Football Federation, the team competes in CAF and FIFA tournaments for youth nations. Their goal is to qualify for the FIFA U-17 World Cup, a feat that has remained elusive but is a constant ambition. The team draws players from domestic academies and schools across Tanzania, aiming to showcase the country's emerging talent. They often play their home matches at the National Stadium in Dar es Salaam. Recent campaigns have seen them compete in the U-17 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers, where they face stiff regional competition. The team is a source of national hope, seen as the breeding ground for the future stars of the senior Taifa Stars.
