KFUM U19 delivered a stunning attacking performance to thrash Ullern U19 9-2 in the Norwegian Junior U19 league on 4 October 2026. The visitors scored at will, turning a potentially competitive fixture into a rout with a display of ruthless finishing and relentless pressing.

Match Overview

Ullern U19 started brightly and actually took an early lead, but that goal only seemed to awaken KFUM U19. The visitors equalised within minutes and then scored three more before half-time to take a 4-1 lead into the break. The second half was even more one-sided, with KFUM adding five more goals as Ullern’s defence crumbled under sustained pressure. A late consolation for Ullern did little to mask the scale of the defeat.

Tactical Story

KFUM U19 employed a high-pressing 4-3-3 that completely disrupted Ullern’s attempts to play out from the back. The visitors won possession high up the pitch repeatedly, leading to a constant stream of chances. Ullern U19 tried to switch to a more direct style after half-time, but their midfield was overrun, and the defence had no answer to KFUM’s quick passing and movement. It was a masterclass in transition play.

Standout Players

Oscar Larsen was unplayable at times, scoring a hat-trick and causing problems with his pace and dribbling. Mathias Berg and Henrik Dahl also impressed with two goals each, while Jonas Moen made an instant impact from the bench. For Ullern U19, Erik Johansen’s early goal and Markus Pedersen’s late consolation were the only bright spots on a difficult evening.

Season Impact

The victory sends a strong message to the rest of the Norwegian Junior U19 league, with KFUM U19 demonstrating they are genuine title contenders. Ullern U19, meanwhile, will need to address defensive frailties quickly to avoid a slide down the table. The two clubs will meet again later in the season, and Ullern will be desperate for a much improved performance.
